Original Title: Omegawytch (39) and Scared2death (29) Slay Tree Spirit Original Release: 18 Feb 2003 11:16
In yet another example of brain being superior to brawn, Scared2death (29 combat) and Omegawytch (39 combat) have slain the Tree Spirit (level 95), to gain admission into the Lost City of Zanaris.
Both had previously killed the Dragon on Crandor by taking cover behind broken pillars and casting spells. The Entrana Dungeon doesn’t provide any cover, so the plan was that we’d block for each other. Sswiss04 generously came along as hatchetman– er, hatchetperson– and additional blocker.

There was some confusion, and we ended up killing the Tree Spirit three times. But none of us died, and in only a few minutes Omegawytch and Scared2death each had a Dramen staff. As we entered the hut south of Lumbridge together, the world suddenly started to shimmer.
Scared2death took advantage of the agricultural and culinary bounty of Zanaris to make bread for the Merlin’s Crystal quest. Omegawytch, who had already completed the quest, tagged along for the stowaway ship trip to Keep LeFaye. The evil enchantress, bargaining for her evil son’s life, was soon telling Scared2death how to obtain the enchanted sword Excalibur from the Lady of the Lake.
Within the next few days, Omegawytch and Scared2death intend to tackle some more dangerous adventures. You might even call them Heroic.
